Description: | The Cederberg V Generations Chenin Blanc (1 x 750ml) is a complex Chenin Blanc that expresses a sensational bouquet of citrus blossom, roasted almonds, and orange peel. It has a great balance between oak and fruit on the palate, showing baked apple and marmalade with a rich and creamy finish. This wine is part of the Nieuwoudt Five Generations range, which showcases the best of the Cederberg. Only thirteen selected barrels are used to produce 6600 bottles. The wine is matured for up to 10 months with monthly battônage of the lees. It’s a full-bodied, fragrant wooded wine1 with delicate aromas of honey, lime zest, roasted nuts and peaches laced with sweet vanilla undertones. It’s well-integrated with wood and ageing on the lees developed a full, rich palate with a smooth lingering finish. |
