Ken Forrester Dirty Little Secret
Cellar: | Jordan Wine Estate, Stellenbosch, South Africa |
Description: | The Ken Forrester Dirty Little Secret (1 x 750ml) is a natural wine in every sense. It’s a tight, bright, mineral wine with texture and mouthfeel and a hint of phenolic structure. It has a soft acidity and a pear drop intensity. The wine is made from grapes sourced from a very old dryland vineyard in the Piekenierskloof region. The main objective was to let this interesting fruit source speak for itself and show its typicity and specific character. This wine has been handled as gently as possible1. It is unfiltered, unfined and may form harmless crystals – truly a sign of quality! Only 7 x 400L barrels were produced. It’s crafted to age and gain complexity in the bottle. |
