Tasting Notes: | The palate shows good tannic grip to frame the more pronounced fleshy plum and cherry flavors, which carry through with moderate intensity to the medium-length finish. There is a nice purple flower element as well, with a soft mentholated herbal character reminiscent of black currant leaf. The wine has aromas of cranberry, subtle cassis and blackberry with underlying notes of vanilla and oak. The wine is fresh and elegant with a smooth lingering aftertaste. |
