Tasting Notes: | The palate is packed with delicious dark fruit interwoven in spice and light toasty notes from the barrels. The palate shows good tannic grip to frame the more pronounced fleshy plum and cherry flavors, which carry through with moderate intensity to the medium-length finish. The wine has aromas of cranberry, subtle cassis and blackberry with underlying notes of vanilla and oak. The wine is fresh and elegant with a smooth lingering aftertaste. |
